Mill Hill International 2026 Prize Giving Ceremony
This years Prizegiving Service was filled with memorable musical performances and inspiring speeches from our pupils. We were also honoured to welcome this year’s guest speaker, John Hellinikakis, President of the Old Millhillians Club who shared his wisdom and encouragement. We are incredibly proud of all our pupils for their dedication and achievements, and this was the perfect way to recognise their hard work.
The ceremony provided a wonderful opportunity to recognise the exceptional achievements, and contributions of our pupils across all areas of school life.
We are delighted to highlight our Major Award winners, each of whom has exemplified the very best of our values.
We begin with Marko Y, (Oak House) who was appointed Drum Major. Marko has been a standout member of the Combined Cadet Force, consistently demonstrating leadership, discipline and unwavering commitment. His meticulous attention to detail, whether in his musical performance or the presentation of his uniform, sets a remarkable standard. Marko is not only an accomplished cadet but also an inspiring role model for his peers and for future generations.
The award for Outstanding Contribution (Academic) was presented to Luca N (Collinson House). Luca’s academic achievements are nothing short of exceptional, attaining the highest grades across all subjects throughout the year. Beyond these results, what truly distinguishes Luca is his intellectual curiosity, dedication to learning and genuine enjoyment of academic endeavour. He embodies the scholarly spirit we strive to nurture in all our pupils.
In Boarding, we recognised Lottie J (Ridgeway House) for her outstanding contribution to house and community life. Lotte has fully embraced the richness of the boarding experience, actively engaging in trips, weekend activities and the social fabric of school life. Her positive attitude and inclusive nature exemplify what it means to be a supportive and engaged member of our boarding community.
This year, we were delighted to present two awards for Outstanding Contribution (Co-curricular), reflecting the breadth and energy of student involvement:
Polina D (Collinson House) has demonstrated extraordinary enthusiasm, attending over 150 sessions across a remarkable range of activities, from sports and creative arts to academic clubs and leadership programmes. Her willingness to explore and engage is truly commendable.
David U (Oak House) has shown tremendous commitment and consistency across a wide variety of co-curricular pursuits. His enthusiasm and dedication have enriched every activity he has been part of, and his participation reflects a strong sense of curiosity and community spirit.
The Sports Award was awarded to Benedict W (Burton Bank) in recognition of his outstanding contribution across multiple sports. Representing the school in 24 fixtures across Basketball, Rugby and Football is an impressive achievement. Benedict’s versatility, resilience and commitment to team sport make him an excellent ambassador for Mill Hill International.
Finally, the award for Outstanding Contribution (School and Community) was presented to Masal T (Ridgeway House). Masal is a creative, motivated and highly dependable student who leads by example. Through her initiative, service and leadership, she has made a lasting and positive impact on the wider school community, embodying the values at the heart of Mill Hill International.
Each of these pupils represents the very best of our school: dedication, integrity, enthusiasm and a commitment to making the most of every opportunity. They have not only excelled individually but have also contributed meaningfully to the life of our community.
The ceremony was a fitting tribute to a year of hard work and success, and we look forward to many more moments of shared pride in the future.
