Trip Roundup

Paris Trip

It has been a wonderful final week for pupils at Mill Hill International. Pupils have just returned from an incredible trip to Paris – four days filled with fantastic food, as well as rich cultural and historic experiences in the heart of this beautiful city. From a memorable evening cruise along the Seine, soaking in the sights of Paris by night, to an action-packed day at Disneyland, the trip offered something for everyone. Pupils also explored world-renowned museums, including the Musée d’Orsay, and spent time discovering the charm of areas such as Île de la Cité and Le Marais.

A huge thank you to Mr Osei for leading the trip with such meticulous planning of the very best places to visit and dine. I would also like to extend my thanks to Mrs Fleming, Mr Komar and Mr Cimino for accompanying the pupils alongside Mr Osei.

Brighton Trip

Pupils, accompanied by Dr Duraisamy, set off on the three days trip to Brighton led by Mr Trask. The trip was packed with educational activities, team building exercises, and fun filled moments. Pupils enjoyed visiting the local Science Observatory, where they learned about our solar system, the planets, and beyond. The hands-on learning experience at the Sea Life Centre deepened their understanding of marine biology and environmental conservation. Pupils experienced the very best that the beautiful seaside city of Brighton and Hove has to offer. All the pupils formed a very strong bond with one another.

Sasha B showed off his muscles in a variety of vest tops, while Adam A and Carlo CG kept us entertained with their funny stories. Rozerin A and Zijia G demonstrated great calm and kindness throughout. Arina P and Ceylin K managed to balance arriving late to breakfast with plenty of humour. Daniel W, Jim W and Tomas ZP thoroughly enjoyed the Sealife Centre, and Dara M really ‘dived in’ to his Sealife Virtual Reality experience. Louis L was talking about technology, and Alp C was constantly talking about… everything.

All in all, it was a wonderful experience for everybody, and pupils should be very proud of the way they conducted themselves.

Year 12 Trip to Edinburgh

Our Sixth Form team took our Year 12 students off on an exciting four-day residential trip to Edinburgh, marking a well-earned celebration of the academic year. Blending cultural discovery, university insight, and time to relax together. The trip proved to be both enriching and unforgettable in equal measure.

After a smooth journey on the train to Scotland’s capital, the group arrived at Edinburgh Waverley and walked the short distance to their accommodation. With bags dropped and energy levels high, the students wasted no time in beginning their exploration of the city with a hike up Arthur’s Seat. Despite the challenge, students were rewarded with stunning panoramic views of Edinburgh and its surrounding landscapes, and the students all started to relax after the long journey. The day concluded with a lively evening meal at the Bonnie and Wild Food Court, where students had the opportunity to choose from a wide range of cuisines before returning to the hostel.
