Rights Respecting School Champions Assembly

Our Rights Respecting School Champions, supported by our EDI Lead, Dr Biswas, presented in assembly to share Mill Hill International’s journey towards becoming a Rights Respecting School, an initiative rooted in UNICEF principles.

Our pupils introduced key ideas about children’s rights and why they matter.
David U (Oak) spoke confidently about the ABCDE of children’s rights, while Evelyn D (Macgregor), Kirill B (Collinson), Ivan L (Ridgeway), Ryan S (Burton Bank), Aruzhan S (Collinson) and Melani A (Macgregor) shared how these rights empower young people to thrive in school and beyond.

They outlined three ways everyone in our community can get involved:

• Understand Why They Matter
• Take Action & Get Involved

The assembly ended with a fun rights-themed quiz between Tutor groups, congratulations to Mr Michael’s Tutor group for coming out on top!
