Co-curricular Activities
We have identified characteristics of leadership, teamwork, curiosity, resilience, confidence, creativity and independent thinking as the key personal traits which drive our extensive, broad and challenging co-curricular programme. This is an area of school life of which we are rightly proud, believing as we do in the importance of a holistic approach to education.

Evening and Saturday Morning Activities
There are a range of facilities and activities available to our boarders during the evenings such as the swimming pool, Music School, out and indoor sports alongside access to Mill Hill School’s gym and fitness studio. We also run special evening activities to mark events such as Nowruz, Hanukkah, Diwali and Lunar New Year which we encourage our boarders to initiate and take a lead in coordinating. This extends to Saturday mornings where boarders are expected to engage in wholesome activity, be it attending sports fixtures or training, gardening or baking with their House staff, or using the time for important independent study in their study room or using the School Library. Clinics and support sessions also run on Saturday mornings which are particularly valuable for those preparing for examinations. There are of course well-deserved Rest and Relaxation weekends to ensure boarders have ample time to recuperate and spend time with friends and family.

Weekend Programme
Boarders have the opportunity to join a wide variety of trips in and around London. There is an expectation that boarders will join in one onsite activity per term alongside our Full Boarding and House trips or activities. Recent trips have included theatre trips, go-karting, museum and gallery tours, and the highly enjoyable House 'Hogs' which allow an opportunity to recognise pupils’ achievements and to enjoy socialising together. Weekend trips are planned in collaboration with the Boarders’ Council to ensure they are not only enjoyable and entertaining but also foster the cultural and social development of our boarders.
